Our macros are manufactured by professionals right here in the UK. With over 30 years of experience in GRP manufacture, we are confident our macros are of the highest possible quality. Ensuring each macro is manufactured perfectly every time is of paramount importance to us, each hold undergoes extensive quality control before it leaves the factory.

Fluorescent Pink - Pantone 806
Fluorescent Orange - RAL 2005
Fluorescent Green - RAL 6038

We can also manufacture macros in custom mono & dual colours. If you require a colour not listed in our standard colour range, please get in touch.

The use of Fluorescent colours outdoors or in direct sunlight, will cause the colours to fade.

Fixation & Safety

Countless hours of R&D were spent focused on producing macros with fixation points that will stand up to years of use. We are incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved, we believe our fixation points are some of the strongest & most durable available.

- Our fixation points are designed to work with 5mm screws.
- All available fixation points must be used.
- Appropriate length screws should be used which will allow at least 20mm of penetration into the wall surface.
- Genetics Climbing Co macros & holds should only be installed by a suitably competent and experienced person.
- Genetics Climbing Co macros & holds should only be used on a climbing surface that meets BS EN 12572-1 or BS EN 12572-2.
- Genetics Climbing Co macros & holds should only be installed on flat wall surfaces.

Care & Handling

- To clean climbing holds & macros we suggest the use of a cold water jet wash. Cleaning agents, excessively hot water or acid based hold cleaners could effect the colour and/or texture.
- Please take care when handling & storing our products, rough handling and improper storage will limit their lifespan.
- Our macros should be stored in a cool dry area, out of direct sunlight.
- If a product is cracked or shows signs of any damage, it must be discarded.
